Bracelets, necklaces, rings, earrings and brooches come in white, yellow or rose 18k gold, from 210 € to 3,070 €. All of our materials are hypoallergenic and certified by the Responsible Jewellery Council — not just silver, as some assume. White 18k gold has a property of its own: it doesn't oxidize, which makes it the material to recommend if you swim often, practice sports regularly, or simply have your hands in water throughout the day. 18k gold is covered by a 10-year warranty from the date of purchase, compared to 1 year for 14k gold-filled and sterling silver; it covers manufacturing or material defects. An 18k gold piece also holds a value proportional to the amount of gold it contains, which matters both at resale and when passing it on.
Who it's for, and for which occasion
Some of these pieces can be personalized, others are worn as they are. On the personalizable pieces, an initial hand-shaped from the wire is never just a letter: it stands for someone — and symbols such as a number, a heart or an infinity sign remain possible upon request. Hand-shaping a personalization takes about 30 minutes, the same amount of time it takes when it's done in front of you, at the atelier, where no molds are involved: the precious metal wire is hand-shaped with pliers by artisans trained for months before shaping their first piece. Each piece is then presented in a jewelry box. To give a gift without knowing the recipient's size or name, the Atelier Paulin gift card, from 50 € to 1,500 €, lets them choose their own piece, material and size; the price itself never appears in the package, as the invoice is sent by email to the buyer alone.
