Since 2014, Atelier Paulin has hand-shaped these pieces in Paris, in sterling silver 925, in 14k gold-filled, and in 18k gold. Necklaces, bracelets, cord bracelets, stud earrings and brooches carry these three symbols, designed to be worn alone or layered together.

Materials and personalization

Three materials make up the Corsica collection. 14k gold-filled, also known as Gold Filled 14 carats, is a solid layer of gold bonded to a metal base: it's not afraid of water, can be worn in the shower or the pool, and only needs an occasional soft cloth. It comes in yellow and rose gold-filled, never in white. Sterling silver 925 contains 92.5% pure silver: it's a living metal that can lightly oxidize on contact with air, a natural and reversible phenomenon; unlike gold-filled, it's best to avoid the pool and the shower with this metal. 18k gold, made from solid gold wire that's 75% pure gold, is stamped and certified by a Maison jewelry artisan, and comes in yellow, rose and white. On every piece, the design is hand-shaped from a single length of precious wire, rather than engraved into a flat surface the way a stamped design would be. Hand-shaping takes 1 to 3 business days in silver and gold-filled, 2 to 5 business days in 18k gold, followed by home delivery in 2 to 5 days.
