These rings, bracelets, and earrings stand apart first through their material: sterling silver, white 18k gold, yellow 18k gold, yellow 14k gold-filled, yellow 14k gold-filled with sterling silver, or rose 14k gold-filled — all hypoallergenic. White 18k gold does not oxidize, a real advantage for hands that are often in water. None of these pieces can be personalized: they are offered as they are, hand-shaped with pliers, no molds, at the Paris atelier since 2014. The price difference between models comes down to the actual amount of gold: gold-filled is a solid gold envelope over a metal base, while 18k gold is a solid wire made of 75% pure gold, hallmarked and certified, which holds its value over time. The O Cube Bracelet or the Hera Twisted Ring No. 3, for instance, show this difference in material and price well.
