This solid wire, composed of 75% pure gold, hallmarked and certified, is markedly different from a simple gold-filled shell, and holds a value proportional to the amount of gold it contains, whether at resale or when passed down. The hand-shaped design is mounted on a textile cord, for a bracelet worn snug at the wrist. Every material we use, including this one, is hypoallergenic and certified by the Responsible Jewellery Council — a mark of responsible sourcing for this piece.
How to Choose Your Personalized Original Cord Bracelet
To build your bracelet, start by choosing the size that fits your wrist: child, women's, or men's, then the cord color — black, coral, khaki, midnight blue, or natural beige. Next comes the personalization, up to 10 letters, as a hand-shaped word or name, or one or more initials standing for one or more names; this maximum stays the same regardless of the size chosen. Lettering is done in lowercase cursive, except for the letter "J," which is hand-shaped as a capital at the start of a word; accents, apostrophes, and special characters cannot be hand-shaped, but spaces can be added upon request. Hand-shaping takes about 30 minutes — a moment you can also experience live by coming to have your piece personalized at the atelier. The bracelet arrives in a gift box, and resizing by one size remains possible, free of charge unless it requires adding 18k gold material.
