The Cord Original Personalized Bracelet belongs to the Original family, the one that started it all at Atelier Paulin. Here, white 18k gold wire is handcrafted by hand with pliers, never cast or molded, a gesture that takes artisans months to learn before handcrafting their first piece of jewelry. The resulting design, a name or a word, one initial or several, is mounted on a textile cord. To hold at points of tension, the handcrafted wire is reinforced with laser micro-welding. In white 18k gold, the bracelet does not oxidize, which makes it a recommended choice for anyone who swims often, plays sports, or keeps their hands in water. Like all of the Maison's materials, it is hypoallergenic. This 18k gold piece is guaranteed for 10 years from the date of purchase, covering manufacturing or material defects: ten years is the warranty specific to 18k gold.
How to Choose Your Personalized Original Cord Bracelet
Wrist size is chosen between child, women's, and men's sizing, and the cord comes in khaki, midnight blue, coral, black, or natural beige. Up to 10 letters can be handcrafted, as a single word or a full name, or as one or more initials: this maximum of 10 letters stays the same regardless of the size chosen. The lettering is done in lowercase cursive, except for the "J," which opens in uppercase at the start of a word; accents, apostrophes, and special characters are not handcrafted, but spaces can be added upon request, as can certain symbols such as a number, a heart, or an infinity sign. If the size no longer fits, a one-step resizing remains possible depending on the lettering, free of charge unless it requires added 18k gold material.
