How to Choose Based on the Word to Shape or the Occasion

A hand-shaped word is limited to lowercase letters, with no accents and no apostrophes, except for the letter "J," which is capitalized at the start of a word. The maximum number of letters depends on the style, not the bracelet size: ten letters on an Original bracelet, ten on a necklace, five on a ring. The Capital and Capital Initial styles depart from the lowercase rule: their lettering is entirely in capitals. For a single initial, the Initial styles are the right fit; for a full first name or a short word, the Personalized or Original styles. A symbol, a number, or a heart can be added upon request, and locket charms can complete any piece in the selection without changing its lettering.

Hand-shaping time, counted in business days at the atelier: one to three days for sterling silver 925 and gold-filled, three to seven days for 18k gold. Home delivery is added after that. Five artisans currently hand-shape more than a hundred pieces a day, each one work-hardened after shaping to give the wire its shape memory.

Materials and Personalization

Sterling silver 925 contains 92.5% pure silver: a bright, luminous white tone, hypoallergenic, that calls for cleaning with lukewarm soapy water and can develop a natural, reversible tarnish on contact with chlorine or bleach. 14k gold-filled, a solid layer of gold bonded to a base metal, does not fear water and needs no particular care, other than removing it during intense physical activity. 18k gold, for its part, is a solid wire made of 75% pure gold, hallmarked and certified by one of the Maison's jewelry artisans, available in yellow, rose, and white; its white version never tarnishes, which makes it a fitting choice for anyone whose hands are often in water. All our materials are hypoallergenic and Responsible Jewellery Council labeled.
