Our guaranteesWhat sets the Original line apart
This is the line where it all began. The pieces come in sterling silver, yellow 18k gold, yellow 14k gold-filled, rose 18k gold and rose 14k gold-filled — all of them hypoallergenic materials, not silver alone. Some of these pieces can be personalized, others are worn as they are, and an initial is never just a character picked from a ready-made alphabet: it is someone's initial. Symbols remain possible upon request. As for the making, no mold is involved: the precious metal wire is hand-shaped, worked with pliers, by artisans trained for months before their first piece — a process that takes about thirty minutes, whether done at the atelier in front of the customer or behind the scenes.
Who it's for, and for which occasion
Consider, for instance, the Original Initial Ring in yellow 14k gold-filled, personalizable, at €120, or the Original Personalized Bracelet, also in yellow 14k gold-filled, at €280. These pieces range from €105 to €3,070, a difference that comes down mainly to the amount of gold actually present: gold-filled is a solid layer of 585 gold bonded onto a metal base, while 18k gold is a solid wire made of 75% pure gold, hallmarked and certified, whose value stays proportional to the amount of gold it contains. Our raw materials are recycled and recyclable. The warranty runs from 1 year, for gold-filled and sterling silver, to 10 years for 18k gold. To give a gift without knowing the recipient's ring size or name, the Atelier Paulin gift card, from €50 to €1,500, lets them choose their own piece; a note can also be added as an order comment, and each piece is presented in a jewelry box.
