The Originale collection embodies this vision in its purest form: each piece begins as a strand of 14k yellow gold-filled wire, bent, tensioned, and work-hardened until it takes the exact shape of the word you carry with you.
Cold work-hardening gives the wire its shape memory and everyday resilience. A laser micro-welding process then reinforces each tension point, resulting in a piece hand-shaped once and worn without limits. From the Original Personalized Bracelet to the Richelieu Personalized Necklace, each piece carries the same gold shine through every hour of the day.
How to Personalize Your Originale Piece
The collection spans every format: chain and cord bracelets, rings, necklaces, ear cuffs, hoop earrings, and brooches. You choose the word, name, or initial — the atelier translates it into a volume of gold.
For a first piece, the Original Personalized Ring offers a delicate introduction: a word hand-shaped onto a band, sitting on the finger as naturally as the word itself. For those who prefer the wrist, the Original Initial Bangle Bracelet pairs the structure of a bangle with the lightness of a single gold wire initial.
The Richelieu styles — Rope Chain, Heart Chain, Rectangle Chain — offer a bolder setting, where the personalized word plays against the texture of the chain. Classic gold plating deposits a tiny layer of gold (0.5 to 2 microns) through electrolysis, which wears off within months. Gold-filled jewelry contains a mechanically bonded layer of gold equal to at least 5% of the piece's total weight, pressure- and heat-fused to the base metal — roughly 50 to 100 times thicker than plating. The result: significantly longer-lasting shine, suitable for daily wear, with no risk of rapid discoloration against the skin.
Yes. Most pieces in the Original collection can be personalized: choose a name, word, or initial, and our artisans hand-shape it letter by letter in precious wire. Our sterling silver, 14k gold-filled, and solid 18k gold pieces contain no free nickel and comply with EU Directive 94/27/EC on metals in contact with skin. Sterling silver is the alloy best tolerated by reactive skin. Each piece is made by hand by our artisans, wire by wire, with no outsourcing to foreign workshops. Our precious wire is sourced from certified European foundries. This commitment to local manufacturing isn't a marketing line — it's what allows us to control quality and respond quickly on personalized orders. 'Made in Paris' isn't decorative wording for us.
Our gold and silver wire comes from European foundries whose certifications we verify. We favor suppliers who work with recycled precious metals (post-consumer recycled gold) and avoid high-risk extraction supply chains. Our solid 18k gold is traceable back to the foundry. We haven't yet obtained official Fairmined certification across our entire supply chain, but this is an ongoing commitment — we report on real progress, not empty promises.
Yes. Bracelets and necklaces come in several lengths (14 to 22 cm for bracelets, 40 to 60 cm for necklaces depending on the design); rings are available from size 4.5 to 11 (US sizing).
