The hand-shaping technique sculpts the wire in volume, letter after letter, to create a three-dimensional piece that holds the memory of the shape it was given. The metal, cold-worked through work-hardening, gains resilience: the piece is hand-shaped to last, hand-shaped to accompany daily life without losing its form.
