Gold-filled 585/1000 and 750/1000 gold are not afraid of water: shower, pool and beach are fine. One reservation only, to preserve the shape of a hand-shaped wire: take the piece off during intense physical activity. Sterling silver 925 prefers to avoid the pool, the shower and sport; the oxidation that can appear on it is natural and reversible.

It is a natural and reversible reaction to air, humidity or chlorine. A little warm soapy water and a soft cloth are enough. To bring back the original color: baking soda and aluminum foil in hot water. For a life in the water, 750/1000 white gold does not oxidize.

Everything can be repaired. Declare the repair online: a reply within 48 hours, then handling within the week once the piece reaches the atelier; count 3 to 4 weeks in total. Sterling silver 925 and 750/1000 gold can be soldered again, on a quote; gold-filled 585/1000 cannot be soldered, so a clean break is remade as new, at half the price outside the warranty. Reshaping and cleaning are free, whatever the age of the piece.
