No mold, no duplication: at Atelier Paulin, gold wire is handcrafted, gesture after gesture, until your word takes form. Laser micro-welding reinforces it, then barrel work-hardening strengthens the metal and gives it its shape memory. It holds its line, year after year, like the bond it carries.

This bracelet carries an initial handcrafted by hand, shaped with pliers, with no mold, from a yellow 14k gold-filled wire mounted on a textile cord. The gesture, learned over months before the first piece was crafted in the workshop, is paired with a laser micro-weld at the points of tension, which reinforces the letter without changing its line. The initial follows the same cursive design of the Maison's handcrafted lettering, in lowercase, except for the "J," which is written in uppercase at the beginning of a word. In rose 14k gold-filled or 925 sterling silver, this same initial model comes in a different shade with its own warranty by material: one year on manufacturing in all three cases, with the lifetime-guaranteed shine added to the two gold-filled versions. The raw materials used, recycled and recyclable, are all hypoallergenic, not just the silver.
How to choose your Bracelet Cord Original Initial
The size is chosen according to wrist circumference, for a child, woman, or man, for a bracelet meant to be worn snug; a resizing by one size remains possible, depending on the lettering, free of charge unless it requires added 18k gold material. The cord comes in five colors, coral, midnight blue, black, khaki, or natural beige, to match the taste of whoever wears it. Only one letter is handcrafted on it, that of a first name, limited to a single letter regardless of the wrist size chosen: accents, apostrophes, and special characters are not handcrafted, but a space or a symbol (number, heart, infinity sign) can be added upon request. Allow about thirty minutes of handcrafting, the time needed for a personalization done on-site, at the workshop.
