Privacy policy

1. General

Atelier Paulin (registered office at 229 rue saint Honoré, 75001 Paris, France) (“Atelier Paulin”, “we”, “us” and “our”), as data controller, attaches great importance to the protection and respect of your privacy. This policy is intended to inform you about our practices regarding the collection, use and sharing of the information you provide to us through our platform (the “Platform”) accessible via the website www.atelierpaulin.com or our partner sites.

This policy, together with our Cookie Policy, explains how we process the personal data we collect and that you provide to us. Please read this document carefully to understand our practices regarding the processing of your personal data.

We may collect and process the following data:

2.1. Information you provide directly to us

When using our Platform, you may provide us with information, some of which may identify you (“Personal Data”). 2.2. Data we collect automatically

2.2.1. If you log in to our services using the social network features made available to you, Atelier Paulin will have access to some of the data (including your first name, last name, photo, email address and Facebook friends count) from your account on the relevant social network, in accordance with that network’s terms of use. We may also collect some of your Personal Data when you interact with features of these social networks, such as “Like” features.

2.2.2. During each of your visits, and in accordance with applicable legislation and your consent where required, we may collect information relating to the devices on which you use our services or the networks from which you access our services, such as your IP addresses, login data, types and versions of internet browsers used, types and versions of browser plug-ins, operating systems and platforms, data about your browsing path on our Platform, including your journey through different URL pages of our Platforms, the content you access or view, search terms used, download errors, the time spent on certain pages, your device advertising identifier, page interactions, as well as any phone number used to contact us. Among the technologies used to collect this information, we use cookies (for more information, please refer to our Cookie Policy).

2.3. Data retention period

Your Personal Data is archived after a period of 10 years following your last interaction with our services, unless you have requested to be removed from our database.

 

 

3. How do we use the data we collect?

We use the data we collect in order to:

3.1. perform the sale concluded between you and us and provide you with the requested information and services;

3.2. send you information about our services (e.g., alerts that may interest you, news) by email, SMS or any other communication means;

  • social media platforms;

  • our business partners on whose websites we may advertise our services;

  • sub-processors we use for technical services, and analytics providers.

4.2. We only share your data with the third parties mentioned in 4.3. above in the following cases:

4.2.1. when we use a service provider to improve our services;

4.2.2. as part of the contact process, in order to provide the requested services, we may share certain Personal Data (such as your first name, mobile phone number or email address) with another member of our team;

4.2.3. when we use search engine providers and analytics solutions to improve and optimize our Platform;

4.2.4. when you expressly request it (for example when you use authentication methods provided by social networks);

4.2.3. when we are legally required to do so, or if we believe in good faith that it is necessary to (i) respond to any claim against Atelier Paulin, (ii) comply with any judicial request, (iii) enforce any contract concluded with our members, such as the Terms of Use and this Privacy Policy, (iv) in an emergency involving public health or an individual’s physical integrity, (v) in the context of investigations, or (vi) to safeguard the rights, property and safety of Atelier Paulin;

4.2.4. if Atelier Paulin or all or part of its assets are acquired by a third party, the data we hold may be transferred to the new owner.

4.2.5. In accordance with applicable law and with your consent where required, we may aggregate data about you that we receive from or send to our business partners, including some or all of your Personal Data and information collected via cookies. This aggregated information will only be used for the purposes described above.

4.2.6. Please note that if you allow us to access some of your information, including your Personal Data, via login services provided by our business partners, their privacy policies will also apply to you. We have no control over the collection or processing of your data carried out by our business partners on their own platforms.

  • On third-party websites: please refer to our Cookie Policy to learn how to withdraw your consent.


6. Are your data transferred, how and where?

We store your Personal Data within the European Union.

 

7. What are your rights over your personal data?

7.1. Where provided by applicable law, you have the right to obtain a copy of the personal data concerning you that we hold. Before responding to your request, we may (i) verify your identity and (ii) ask you to provide additional information to respond to your request.

7.2. We will endeavour to respond within a reasonable time and, in any event, within the time limits set by law. If you wish to exercise this right, please contact us as indicated in Section 12 below.
