The Personalized Lurex Cord Bracelet stands apart first for its material: a solid Rose 18k gold wire, hand-shaped with pliers, with no mold, by artisans trained for months before shaping their first piece of jewelry. All of the work is done in Paris, at the Paris atelier founded in 2014. Laser micro-welding reinforces the wire at tension points, then the entire piece is work-hardened after shaping, which gives it its shape memory and resilience. This cord setting sits adjusted at the wrist, in midnight black, bubblegum pink, ocean blue, light green, or gold. The piece arrives in a jewelry box, and personalizing it takes about thirty minutes — a step you can even watch being done in person, at the atelier.
How to Choose Your Personalized Lurex Cord Bracelet
This bracelet can be personalized with up to 10 letters, hand-shaped in lowercase cursive, except for the letter "J," which is shaped as a capital at the start of a word; this maximum stays the same regardless of the size you choose. Two ways to personalize: a hand-shaped word or name, or one or more name initials. Accents and apostrophes aren't shaped, but spaces can be added on request, as can symbols such as a number, a heart, or an infinity sign; another alphabet (Arabic, Hebrew, Cyrillic) can also be considered by the atelier upon request. All that's left is choosing between the child and women's wrist sizing. The price is $650. In Rose 18k gold like this piece, the warranty covers manufacturing or material defects for 10 years from the purchase date: a solid wire made of 75% pure gold, hallmarked, which retains a value proportional to its gold content when resold or passed down. Resizing remains possible, free of charge unless it requires adding 18k gold material.
