This bracelet belongs to the Original family, the one that started it all: the design handcrafted from the wire, here in Rose 14k gold-filled, is mounted on a textile cord. The wire is never cast or molded: it is handcrafted by hand, with pliers, by artisans trained for months before handcrafting their first piece of jewelry, then reinforced with laser micro-welding at points of tension. The same model also exists in Yellow 14k gold-filled, Rose 18k gold, and Yellow 18k gold: the difference comes from the actual amount of gold present, as 14k gold-filled forms a layer of 585 gold over a metal base, while 18k gold is a solid wire, hallmarked and certified. The warranty follows this difference: one year for gold-filled (the shine of the gold remaining guaranteed for life), ten years for 18k gold, which retains a value proportional to the gold it contains.
How to choose your Personalized Lurex Cord Bracelet
The bracelet comes in a child or women's size, depending on the wrist it is meant for, and is worn snug. Five cord colors are offered: midnight black, bubblegum pink, light green, gold, ocean blue. Next comes the word: a name or word handcrafted, or one or more initials, up to 10 letters, this maximum staying the same regardless of the size chosen. The lettering is done in lowercase cursive, except for the "J" at the start of a word, which takes a capital letter; accents and apostrophes cannot be handcrafted, but spaces can be added upon request, as can a symbol (number, heart, infinity sign) or another alphabet, to be discussed with the atelier. A one-size resizing remains possible, free of charge unless it requires added 18k gold material.
Who it's for, and for which occasion
This model is designed for a woman, but is also worn by children, and is among the most requested pieces. It fits well among personalized gifts that mark a specific occasion: Mother's Day, or a birth, to celebrate a new bond with mom. Each bracelet comes in an individual gift box; at checkout, the gift option adds, for €2, an Atelier Paulin bag and a printed card with the customer's message, with the price never appearing in the package, as the invoice is sent by email to the buyer only.
