This Personalized Slim Knot Cord Necklace is recognized first by its rose 18k gold wire, hand-shaped with pliers, with no mold involved: every gesture is entrusted to artisans trained for months before their first piece, within the Parisian atelier founded in 2014. The resulting design, a hand-shaped word or initials, is mounted on a textile cord available in three shades, slim knot blue, red, or green. This 18k gold wire is entirely hypoallergenic, as are all of the Maison's materials, and it is certified by the Responsible Jewellery Council. A solid gold wire, hallmarked, also holds a value proportional to the amount of gold it contains, making it a piece meant to last through the years.
How to choose your Personalized Slim Knot Cord Necklace
To build this necklace, start by choosing the cord color, then the personalization: a hand-shaped word or name, or one or more initials, up to 10 letters total. Lettering is lowercase cursive, except for the letter "J," which is hand-shaped as a capital when it opens a word; accents, apostrophes, and special characters cannot be hand-shaped, but spaces or symbols such as a number, a heart, or an infinity sign can be added on request, and the atelier also considers any request in another alphabet or language. Hand-shaping takes about 30 minutes, the same amount of time it takes to have a piece personalized on site. This style is also available in white gold, yellow 18k gold, sterling silver, or 14k gold-filled: white and yellow 18k gold carry a 10-year guarantee, since the wire remains solid, hallmarked gold, while sterling silver and 14k gold-filled carry a 1-year guarantee, with the shine of the 14k gold-filled guaranteed for life — white 18k gold also has the advantage of not oxidizing, making it the material of choice for anyone whose hands are often in water.
