The Personalized Slim Knot Cord Necklace is defined first by its wire, hand-shaped in yellow 18k gold, mounted on a textile cord available in a slim knot of green, red, or blue depending on the wearer's mood. Personalizable with up to 10 letters, it is hand-shaped as a word or name, or as initials referring to several first names at once. The lettering, entirely in lowercase cursive, keeps one elegant exception: the letter "J" is hand-shaped in uppercase when it opens a word; accents and apostrophes, on the other hand, are not part of the hand-shaping. This 18k gold piece carries a 10-year guarantee from the date of purchase, covering any manufacturing or material defect: ten years is the guarantee that comes with 18k gold. The necklace also adjusts from 30 to 65 cm, to suit every way of wearing it.

Choosing this necklace starts with choosing its material and its personalization: a hand-shaped word in cursive, or initials. This same design is also available in white 18k gold, rose 18k gold, sterling silver, and in rose or yellow 14k gold-filled, each available on the shop. The guarantee depends on the material chosen: in white or rose 18k gold, it runs for 10 years, just as with the solid 18k gold wire, hallmarked, which holds value in proportion to the gold it contains; in sterling silver, it runs for one year; in rose or yellow 14k gold-filled, it also runs for one year, though the shine of the gold-filled wire itself is guaranteed for life. This difference comes down to the actual amount of gold present: gold-filled is a solid layer of 585 gold bonded to a base metal, while 18k gold is a solid wire made of 75% pure gold, hallmarked and certified.
