The Personalized Richelieu Necklace in yellow 18k gold stands out for its solid gold wire, stamped and certified, composed of 75% pure gold — far removed from a simple plated shell. Each letter is hand-shaped with pliers, with no mold, by artisans trained for months before shaping their first piece, then reinforced at tension points by laser micro-welding. This piece also comes in yellow 14k gold-filled, rose 14k gold-filled, white 18k gold, and rose 18k gold. It retains a value proportional to the gold it contains, whether resold or passed down. It is presented in a case and made with a material certified by the Responsible Jewellery Council.

This piece can be personalized with up to 10 letters, in one of two ways: a hand-shaped word or name, or one or more initials standing for one or more names. Lettering is in lowercase script, except for a "J" at the start of a word, which is hand-shaped in uppercase; accents and apostrophes cannot be reproduced, though spaces can be added on request, and symbols such as a number, a heart, or an infinity sign remain possible on request, as does working with another alphabet or language. Hand-shaping takes about 30 minutes — the same amount of time it takes to have a piece personalized directly at the atelier. For a hand often in water or an intense sports routine, white 18k gold — which does not oxidize — is worth considering; it carries a 10-year guarantee, the same as rose 18k gold, while the gold-filled versions carry a 1-year guarantee with a lifetime guarantee on the gold's shine.
