The Personalized Safety Pin Brooch stands apart first through its wire, hand-shaped in Rose 18k gold, a noble material the atelier guarantees for 10 years from the date of purchase against manufacturing or material defects: ten years is the guarantee specific to 18k gold. This brooch can receive a personalization hand-shaped in lowercase cursive, with the exception of the letter "J," which is shaped in uppercase at the start of a word; neither accents nor apostrophes are hand-shaped onto the wire. Priced at 980 €, it is also available in other materials from the same family: Rose 14k gold-filled, Yellow 14k gold-filled, Yellow 18k gold, and White 18k gold, each with its own guarantee terms.
How to choose your Personalized Safety Pin Brooch
Two personalization options are available when choosing your brooch: a word or name hand-shaped in full, up to 10 letters, or one or more initials standing for the names that matter to you. The choice of material also affects the nature of the guarantee: in Rose 14k gold-filled or Yellow 14k gold-filled, the brooch is guaranteed for 1 year, with the shine of the gold-filled wire guaranteed for life; in Yellow 18k gold or White 18k gold, it carries the same guarantee as Rose 18k gold, since this is a solid gold wire that is hallmarked and retains a value proportional to the gold it contains. This difference in guarantee reflects a real difference in material: gold-filled is a solid layer of 14k gold bonded onto a base metal core, while 18k gold is a solid wire composed of 75% pure gold, hallmarked.
