Hand-shaping a personalized piece takes about 30 minutes, the same amount of time it takes to have a piece personalized in front of you at the atelier, for anyone who wants to watch their piece come to life. Each brooch is presented in a gift box, and its raw materials are recycled and recyclable, a choice that reflects the atelier's approach. This 18k gold piece carries a 10-year warranty from the date of purchase against manufacturing or material defects: ten years is the warranty specific to this material.
How to Choose Your Personalized Safety Pin Brooch
This brooch can be personalized with up to 10 letters, hand-shaping a full word or name, or one or more initials drawn from one or more first names. The lettering is done in lowercase cursive, except for the letter "J," which is hand-shaped as a capital at the start of a word; accents and apostrophes cannot be hand-shaped, though spaces can be added on request, and symbols such as a number, a heart, or an infinity sign remain possible on request. Another alphabet — Arabic, Hebrew, or Cyrillic — or another language can also be reviewed by the atelier. This same design is also available in rose 14k gold-filled, yellow 14k gold-filled, rose 18k gold, or white 18k gold: in 14k gold-filled, the warranty is one year with a lifetime-guaranteed shine, while in 18k gold, rose or white, the warranty is ten years, with white gold carrying the added benefit of never oxidizing — well suited to anyone who spends a lot of time in water or is very active in sports.
