No mold, no duplication: at Atelier Paulin, gold wire is hand-shaped, gesture after gesture, until your word takes form. Laser micro-welding reinforces it, then barrel work-hardening strengthens the metal and gives it its shape memory. It holds its line, year after year, like the bond it carries.

The Personalized Richelieu Rope Chain Bracelet stands out for its yellow 14k gold-filled wire, hand-shaped with pliers by an artisan, never cast in a mold: every gesture took months of training before that artisan's first handcrafted piece. The wire is then reinforced with laser micro-welding at tension points. Shaping takes about 30 minutes — the same amount of time as an in-studio personalization, for anyone who wants to have it done in person. This material, like all of the Maison's materials, is hypoallergenic and certified by the Responsible Jewellery Council. The bracelet is also available in sterling silver for those who prefer that material.
How to choose your Personalized Richelieu Rope Chain Bracelet
To design this bracelet, choose between a hand-shaped word in cursive lettering or initials; keep in mind that accents, apostrophes, and special characters cannot be hand-shaped, while spaces can be added on request. A symbol (a number, a heart, an infinity sign) can also be hand-shaped on request, and a different alphabet — Arabic, Hebrew, Cyrillic — can be discussed directly with the studio. The piece arrives in a jewelry box. If the bracelet is meant as a gift, a note can be tucked into the package with a simple mention in the order comments, and the invoice is sent only by email to the buyer: the price never appears in the package.
