No mold, no duplication: at Atelier Paulin, gold wire is hand-shaped, gesture after gesture, until your word takes form. Laser micro-welding reinforces it, then barrel work-hardening strengthens the metal and gives it its shape memory. It holds its line, year after year, like the bond it carries.

The Original Personalized Ring is defined first by its material: a solid yellow 18k gold wire, hallmarked, hand-shaped with pliers, never cast or molded, in the Parisian workshop founded in 2014. This artisanal work includes work-hardening applied to the entire piece after shaping, along with laser micro-welding at tension points to reinforce the hand-shaped wire. Each personalization can include up to 5 letters, hand-shaped into a word or a name, or as initials. The lettering is in lowercase cursive, except for the letter "J," which is hand-shaped in uppercase at the start of a word, with no accents or apostrophes. The piece carries the 10-year guarantee specific to 18k gold, and comes presented in a jewelry box.
How to choose your Original Personalized Ring
To choose your ring, fifteen sizes are available, from French size 48 to 62, with size 54 being the best-seller; a size 54 corresponds to a 54mm finger circumference, or roughly 17.2mm in diameter. If you're looking for lettering beyond the usual scope, symbols (a number, a heart, an infinity sign) can be added on request, as can another alphabet or language — the atelier reviews each request individually. For everyday care, all of our materials are hypoallergenic. This design is also available in yellow or rose 14k gold-filled, in sterling silver, and in rose or white 18k gold — the latter two carry the same 10-year guarantee as yellow 18k gold, compared to 1 year for gold-filled or silver pieces.

This ring is designed for a woman: a personalized piece of jewelry, given as a personalized gift to mark an occasion that matters. At $760, it can be resized by up to two sizes in either direction, assessed case by case depending on the lettering and design, free of charge unless additional 18k gold material is required. A note can also be slipped into the package on request, simply added as a comment at checkout, and the price never appears inside the package: the invoice is sent only by email to the buyer.
