No mold, no duplication: at Atelier Paulin, gold wire is hand-shaped, gesture after gesture, until your word takes form. Laser micro-welding reinforces it, then barrel work-hardening strengthens the metal and gives it its shape memory. It holds its line, year after year, like the bond it carries.

The Personalized Original Ring stands apart first through its material: a Rose 14k gold-filled wire, a solid envelope of 585 gold over a metal base, hypoallergenic like all our materials. Hand-shaped with pliers, never cast in a mold, by artisans trained for months in our Paris workshop since 2014, it can carry up to 5 letters, as a hand-shaped word or name, or as initials. The lettering appears in lowercase script, with only the letter "J" set in uppercase at the start of a word, with no accents or apostrophes. Each piece is presented in a jewelry box, and its raw materials are recycled and recyclable, for a piece that is both personal and responsible.
How to choose your Personalized Original Ring
To choose your ring, start with the size: from 48 to 62, with 54 being the best seller, knowing that a French size corresponds directly to finger circumference in millimeters. Next, think about the text to be hand-shaped — the maximum letter count stays the same regardless of the size chosen; spaces can be added on request, and another alphabet or symbols such as a number, a heart, or an infinity sign can also be considered on request, with the workshop reviewing each request individually. On the warranty side, the piece carries a one-year warranty against manufacturing defects, with the shine of the gold-filled wire guaranteed for life. If needed, a resizing of up to two sizes in either direction remains possible, free of charge unless it requires adding 18k gold material. For a different look, the design is also available in Yellow 14k gold-filled, Sterling silver, or Rose 18k gold, White 18k gold, Yellow 18k gold — this last option a solid gold wire made of 75% pure gold, hallmarked, retaining a value proportional to the gold it contains, and backed by a 10-year warranty; White 18k gold, for its part, does not oxidize, a material worth recommending to anyone whose hands are often in water.
