The Personalized Richelieu Rope Chain Necklace comes in sterling silver, mounted on a refined rope chain, for a total length of 45cm. What sets it apart above all is its hand-shaped lettering, formed by hand with pliers, never cast in a mold: every artisan at the Parisian atelier, founded in 2014, trains for months before shaping their first piece. The chosen word or name appears in lowercase cursive, except for the letter "J," which is hand-shaped as a capital when it opens the word. This design is also available in yellow 14k gold-filled, whose shine is guaranteed for life, while the piece itself carries a one-year guarantee against manufacturing or material defects. Priced at 310 €, it is delivered in a gift box and hand-shaped from materials certified by the Responsible Jewellery Council.
How to choose your Personalized Richelieu Rope Chain Necklace
To design your Personalized Richelieu Rope Chain Necklace, two personalization options are available: a full word or name hand-shaped in cursive, or one or several initials standing for one or several first names, up to 10 letters — this maximum stays the same regardless of the size chosen. Please note that accents and apostrophes cannot be hand-shaped, but spaces can be added upon request, as can certain symbols (a number, a heart, an infinity sign). Another alphabet, such as Arabic, Hebrew, or Cyrillic, can also be considered by the atelier. Hand-shaping a personalized piece takes about 30 minutes — a short enough time to be done right in front of you if you come have it personalized on-site at the atelier.
