The Personalized Richelieu Bracelet stands apart in the way it is made: no mold is ever used. The precious metal wire is hand-shaped, worked with pliers, by artisans trained for months before shaping their first piece of jewelry. Hand-shaping a word, a name, or initials takes about thirty minutes — the same amount of time it takes to complete a personalization in front of a customer at the atelier. At points of tension, laser micro-welding reinforces the hand-shaped wire. The lettering is in lowercase cursive, except for the letter "J," which is hand-shaped in uppercase at the start of a word; it includes no accents and no apostrophes. This piece in 18k gold comes with a 10-year guarantee, a duration specific to this material. This design is also available in 18k rose gold and 18k white gold, as well as in 14k gold-filled versions — yellow or rose — which come with a one-year guarantee and a lifetime guarantee on the shine.
