No mold, no duplication: at Atelier Paulin, gold wire is hand-shaped, gesture after gesture, until your word takes form. Laser micro-welding reinforces it, then barrel work-hardening strengthens the metal and gives it its shape memory. It holds its line, year after year, like the bond it carries.

The rose 18k gold that makes up the wire of this necklace is a solid precious metal, hallmarked, composed of 75% pure gold: it's this actual quantity of gold present that distinguishes an 18k gold piece from a gold-filled piece, which is a solid envelope of 585 gold over a metal base. This difference also explains the warranty: 10 years for 18k gold, compared with 1 year for gold-filled versions, whose shine is itself guaranteed for life. An 18k gold piece, like this design also available in white 18k gold, yellow 18k gold, rose 14k gold-filled or yellow 14k gold-filled, retains a value proportional to the quantity of gold it contains, whether at resale or when passed down. All materials used are also Responsible Jewellery Council certified.
How to choose your Personalized Mantra Original Necklace
Personalizing this design lets you hand-shape up to 35 characters, including spaces, as a single word or name, several words, or one or more initials referring to one or more names. Lettering is done in cursive lowercase, except for the letter "J," which is hand-shaped as a capital when it begins a word; accents and apostrophes cannot be reproduced, though spaces can be added on request. Another alphabet, such as Arabic, Hebrew, or Cyrillic, or another language, remains possible: the atelier reviews each request individually. This hand-shaping, done with pliers and without any mold, takes about thirty minutes: it's also the time it takes for a personalization done in front of the customer, at the Paris atelier, founded in 2014.
