The Personalized Original Brooch in yellow 18k gold is hand-shaped by hand with pliers, with no mold, by artisans trained for months before shaping their first piece of jewelry. Priced at 1,200 €, it carries the warranty specific to 18k gold: ten years from the date of purchase against any manufacturing or material defect, since a solid wire made of 75% pure gold holds a value proportional to the amount of gold it contains, hallmarked and certified. The price difference with other materials comes precisely from this amount of gold actually present in the wire, far removed from a simple gold-filled layer over a base metal: this difference is what makes this brooch a piece as much to pass down as to wear.
How to choose your Personalized Original Brooch
This brooch can be personalized with up to 10 letters, as a hand-shaped word or name, or as initials standing for one or several names. The lettering is done in lowercase script, except for the letter "J" at the start of a word, which is hand-shaped as a capital; accents and apostrophes cannot be reproduced, but spaces can be added upon request. Symbols — a number, a heart, an infinity sign — are possible upon request, as is another alphabet such as Arabic, Hebrew, or Cyrillic, with the atelier reviewing each specific request. This design is also available in yellow 14k gold-filled, rose 14k gold-filled, sterling silver, white 18k gold, or rose 18k gold; depending on the material chosen, the warranty ranges from 1 year (gold-filled or silver, with the shine of the gold-filled guaranteed for life) to 10 years for the 18k gold versions — white gold, notably, does not oxidize, which makes it the material to recommend for anyone whose hands are often in water.
