The Original Personalized Ear Cuff - Rose 14k gold-filled is an ear cuff hand-shaped from a rose 14k gold-filled wire, available for the left ear or the right ear. What sets it apart is its hand-shaping: no mold is used, the precious metal wire is worked by hand, shaped with pliers, by artisans trained for months before their first piece. Work-hardening, applied to the entire piece after shaping and never letter by letter, gives it its shape memory and resilience. Shaping takes about 30 minutes, which is also the time it takes to have a piece personalized in front of the customer, at the atelier. Each piece is then presented in a gift box. One-year warranty from the date of purchase against manufacturing or material defects, while the shine of the 14k gold-filled wire itself is guaranteed for life.
How to choose your Original Personalized Ear Cuff
This design can be personalized with up to 5 letters, hand-shaped either as a full word or name, or as one or several name initials. The lettering is presented in lowercase script, except for the letter "J," which is hand-shaped as a capital when it begins a word; accents and apostrophes cannot be hand-shaped, but spaces can be added upon request, and a symbol (a number, a heart, an infinity sign) remains possible upon request as well. For another alphabet (Arabic, Hebrew, Cyrillic) or another language, the atelier reviews the request case by case. This design is also available in yellow 14k gold-filled, in sterling silver, as well as in rose, yellow, or white 18k gold; the latter, shaped from solid, hallmarked gold wire, come with a 10-year warranty, compared to 1 year for the gold-filled versions and sterling silver — the price difference reflects the actual amount of gold present in the wire. All of our materials are hypoallergenic and certified by the Responsible Jewellery Council; white 18k gold, which does not oxidize, is especially well suited to anyone whose hands are often in water.
