The Original Personalized Ear Cuff stands out first for its hypoallergenic material, as is true of every material shaped at the atelier, with rose 18k gold wire available for either the left or the right ear. This piece carries a 10-year guarantee from the date of purchase, covering manufacturing or material defects — a duration that reflects the guarantee specific to 18k gold. This design is also available in other materials: yellow 14k gold-filled, rose 14k gold-filled, sterling silver, yellow 18k gold, or white 18k gold. The gold-filled and silver versions carry a one-year guarantee, with the shine of the gold-filled wire itself guaranteed for life; the solid 18k gold versions keep the 10-year guarantee. White 18k gold, which doesn't oxidize, is a good recommendation for anyone whose hands are often in water or who plays a lot of sport.
How to choose your Original Personalized Ear Cuff
This design can be personalized with up to 5 letters, in one of two ways: a hand-shaped word or name, or one or more initials standing for one or more names. The lettering is hand-shaped in lowercase cursive, except for the letter "J," which is shaped as a capital when it begins a word; accents and apostrophes cannot be hand-shaped, but spaces can be added on request, as can certain symbols such as a number, a heart, or an infinity sign. Another alphabet or language can also be considered by the atelier upon request. Each personalized piece takes about 30 minutes to hand-shape with pliers, with no mold involved, and is then reinforced with laser micro-welding at the tension points; this same personalization can also be done on-site, in front of the customer, at the atelier.
