It starts with a single wire: three links are hand-shaped from yellow 14k gold-filled wire, then shaped by hand with pliers before the whole piece is work-hardened, giving the metal its shape memory and long-term resilience. These links then come together around a twisted sterling silver chain, with no mold used at any stage. Since 2014, Atelier Paulin has hand-shaped its pieces this way in Paris, in a workshop where five artisans work side by side every day. This bracelet does not take a word or an initial: it is worn exactly as shaped, and it's precisely this play of three links that turns it into a piece you compose differently — through material and volume rather than lettering.

The Tercet's whole idea lies in how it transforms: paired with a cord from the same line, it becomes a necklace, and each link can hold a charm that clips directly onto it. Material, Dimensions and Care
Yellow 14k gold-filled wire — a solid layer of gold bonded to a metal base — contains 50 to 100 times more gold than traditional gold plating, giving it the properties of 585-fine gold wire and a shine guaranteed for life. Sterling silver, at 92.5% pure silver, is a living metal: a light oxidation may appear on contact with air or chemicals, a natural and reversible process that's corrected with lukewarm soapy water and a soft cloth. Neither the gold-filled wire nor the silver needs particular day-to-day care, and the gold-filled wire isn't affected by water: showers, sea or pool don't alter it. The wire, 1 mm thick, stays supple under the pliers while holding up to everyday wear. This bracelet carries a one-year guarantee on the gold-filled wire and silver, and is hallmarked and certified as it leaves the workshop.
