The Daphne Hammered U Earring in 18k yellow gold is hand-shaped by hand with pliers, no molds, at the Paris atelier founded in 2014. After shaping, the wire is laser micro-welded at tension points, then work-hardened across the entire piece — a cold-working process that gives it its shape memory and resilience. This solid wire, composed of 75% pure gold, hallmarked and certified, carries a value proportional to the amount of gold it contains, unlike 14k gold-filled, which is a solid gold envelope over a metal base. Hypoallergenic, recycled and recyclable, and certified by the Responsible Jewellery Council, this piece carries a 10-year guarantee from the date of purchase on the 18k gold, and arrives in a jewelry box. This design is not personalizable and is also available in 14k yellow gold-filled, with a 1-year guarantee and a lifetime guarantee on the gold's shine.
