No mold, no duplication: at Atelier Paulin, gold wire is hand-shaped, gesture after gesture, until your word takes form. Laser micro-welding reinforces it, then barrel work-hardening strengthens the metal and gives it its shape memory. It holds its line, year after year, like the bond it carries.

A hand-shaped piece meant to express a bond should last as long as it does. Atelier Paulin's artisans restore it, or remake it as new, in less than a week, in the very workshop where it was born.
Care and RepairLittle Heart Necklace: What Sets It Apart
The Little Heart Necklace in yellow 14k gold-filled is not personalized: it is worn as is, with no name or initial added, in a shape that is already set. Its warranty clearly distinguishes the two materials in this family: one year for manufacturing or material defects on the gold-filled piece, with the shine guaranteed for life, versus ten years for the yellow 18k gold version. This difference comes from the very nature of the wire: 14k gold-filled is a solid layer of 585 gold bonded onto a base metal, while 18k gold is a solid wire made of 75% pure gold, hallmarked and certified, which retains a value proportional to the gold it contains. All our materials are hypoallergenic and Responsible Jewellery Council certified, hand-shaped in our Paris atelier since 2014.
