The Capital Initial Necklace stands apart first through its yellow 18k gold wire, hand-shaped with pliers, without a mold, by artisans trained for months before shaping their first piece of jewelry. This wire is reinforced with laser micro-welding at tension points, a technique that consolidates the piece once shaped. This shaping, like the personalization itself, takes about thirty minutes — the same amount of time that can take place in front of the customer at the atelier. Its material, like all of ours, is hypoallergenic and certified by the Responsible Jewellery Council, a guarantee of controlled sourcing. This 18k gold piece is also guaranteed for 10 years from the date of purchase against manufacturing or material defects, a guarantee specific to 18k gold.
How to choose your Capital Initial Necklace
This design is personalized with a single initial per piece, chosen to represent a first name; several first names require several pieces. The lettering is in capitals, following the "Capital" design. Symbols (a number, a heart, an infinity sign) can also be added upon request, and for a wider choice — religious symbols, a clover, an initial — the locket charms available on the site fit onto any piece of jewelry. Finally, if the yellow gold shown here isn't the right fit, this design is also available in rose gold and in white 18k gold — the latter does not oxidize and is recommended for an active lifestyle, time in the water, or sport; like any 18k gold piece, these versions hold a value proportional to the amount of gold they contain.
