No mold, no duplication: at Atelier Paulin, gold wire is hand-shaped, gesture after gesture, until your word takes form. Laser micro-welding reinforces it, then barrel work-hardening strengthens the metal and gives it its shape memory. It holds its line, year after year, like the bond it carries.

Within the family of initial necklaces, the Capital stands out for its UPPERCASE letter, handcrafted with pliers, without a mold, then work-hardened across the whole piece once the shape is set: this cold-working gives the wire its memory of form. Shaped here in Rose 18k gold, it also comes in Yellow 18k gold and White 18k gold, each guaranteed for 10 years like the rose gold: a solid gold wire, hallmarked, whose value follows that of the gold it contains. Choosing white gold also means choosing a material that doesn't oxidize, useful for anyone whose hands are often in water. All our materials, meanwhile, are hypoallergenic.
How to choose your Capital Initial Necklace
Only one letter is chosen per piece, that of a first name: for several first names, several pieces are needed. The pendant measures 1cm and the necklace fastens at 42cm or 45cm thanks to adjustment rings, which let you set the length depending on the neck or the desired drape. Beyond the initial, a number, a heart, or an infinity sign can be handcrafted on request. Personalization, whether done with an order or in person at the workshop, takes about thirty minutes, the time for a gesture performed before the customer's eyes if she wishes.
