How to choose based on the message to craft or the occasion
Two ways of personalizing coexist. The first handcrafts an entire word, in lowercase, except for the letter "J," which is capitalized at the start of a word: that's the case for the Papa Wax Cord Bracelet or the Dad Wax Cord Bracelet. The second handcrafts one or more initials, standing for one or more first names: that's the case for the Initial Knot Cord Bracelet for Men or the Capital Initial Cord Bracelet, whose lettering is in capitals. Accents and apostrophes are not handcrafted; spaces can be added upon request. For a gift without a message, non-personalized models like the Judd Necklace or the Charly Necklace can be chosen directly. Each piece comes in its own box, ready to be given.
Materials and personalization
Three materials make up this selection. 925 sterling silver, an alloy of 92.5% pure silver, hypoallergenic and antibacterial, ships within 24 to 48 working hours. 14k gold-filled, a solid layer of gold bonded to a metal base, ships within the same timeframe and comes in yellow or rose: it doesn't mind water, whether in the shower or the pool, except during intense physical activity. 18k gold, a solid wire that is stamped and certified, ships within 1 to 3 working days and comes in yellow, rose, or white. In all three cases, home delivery then takes 1 to 3 working days. Since 2014, Atelier Paulin has handcrafted its jewelry in Paris, from a single precious wire in one continuous piece, unlike classic engraving, where the design is etched into a flat surface. Each piece is then work-hardened as a whole to give it its shape memory.
