The Capital Initial Cord Bracelet is hand-shaped from white 18k gold wire, a material that does not oxidize — a practical advantage for anyone who swims often, plays sports regularly, or spends a lot of time with their hands in water. Like all our materials, it is hypoallergenic, and comes from recycled, recyclable raw materials certified by the Responsible Jewellery Council. The uppercase lettering, specific to the "Capital" style, shapes a single initial by hand with pliers, with no mold, crafted by artisans trained for months before shaping their first piece, entirely in Paris since 2014. It is also available in yellow and rose 18k gold, each backed by a 10-year guarantee from the date of purchase, with the same value tied to the amount of gold it contains.
How to Choose Your Capital Initial Cord Bracelet
This bracelet is personalized with a single letter, an initial, hand-shaped in uppercase; this maximum stays the same regardless of the size chosen. A different alphabet — Arabic, Hebrew, or Cyrillic — can be considered by the Atelier on request, as can certain symbols such as a number, a heart, or an infinity sign. For a wider choice, the locket charms available on the site can be added to any piece of jewelry. Shaping this letter takes about thirty minutes, a window of time that makes it possible to have it made right at the Atelier, in front of the customer. Once hand-shaped, the wire is laser micro-welded at tension points, then work-hardened across the entire piece, which gives it its shape memory and resilience. Resizing remains possible afterward, free of charge unless 18k gold material needs to be added.
