18K gold is the jewelry benchmark. The 750/1000 gold wire used at Atelier Paulin contains 75% pure gold — it doesn't tarnish, causes no skin reaction, and keeps its shine decade after decade. Manufacturing time: 2 to 5 business days. Available in yellow, white, and rose.

14k Gold-Filled (585/1000)

Gold-filled wire is a layer of 14k gold mechanically bonded to a brass core — not to be confused with gold plating, which wears off quickly. The layer is 50 to 100 times thicker than standard plating. The result: a piece of jewelry that stands up to water, sweat, and time. Lead time: 1 to 3 business days. Planning ahead for lead times. Every personalized necklace is made to order in our Paris atelier. Allow 1 to 3 business days for a gold-filled or silver model, 2 to 5 business days for 18K gold — plus DHL Express delivery (48h to metropolitan France, 48 to 72h to Europe and the United States). Duties are included (DDP): no hidden fees on delivery.

Adding a note. Every order can include a handwritten note. It's a detail many customers appreciate as much as the jewelry itself.

Water. 18K gold and gold-filled both resist water. You can keep your necklace on in the shower, at the pool (chlorinated water in moderation), even at the beach.
