All of these materials are hypoallergenic, and white 18k gold does not oxidize — a real advantage for a father who swims often, plays sports regularly, or has his hands in water every day. Each piece is hand-shaped with pliers, no molds involved, by artisans trained for months before shaping their first piece, at the Paris atelier since 2014. The price difference between gold-filled and 18k gold comes down to the actual amount of gold present: 18k gold, hallmarked and certified, holds a value proportional to its gold content, whether resold or passed down.
Who it's for, and for which occasion
Some of these pieces can be personalized, others are worn as they are, to suit every father's style. An initial is never a random letter: it stands for someone, and the chosen name is hand-shaped from the wire itself, never engraved; symbols such as a number, a heart or an infinity sign remain possible on request.
