No mold, no duplication: at Atelier Paulin, gold wire is hand-shaped, gesture after gesture, until your word takes form. Laser micro-welding reinforces it, then barrel work-hardening strengthens the metal and gives it its shape memory. It holds its line, year after year, like the bond it carries.

Care and RepairWhat Makes the Chain Ring Distinctive
The Chain Ring - Tawny Sapphire pairs a single yellow 14k gold-filled wire with a tawny sapphire, set on a chain for a look that is both delicate and graphic. The wire is hand-shaped with pliers, with no mold whatsoever, by artisans trained for months before shaping their first piece, entirely in Paris since 2014. Each piece is then laser micro-welded at tension points, and the whole piece is work-hardened once the shaping is complete, giving it shape memory and resilience. This design is not personalized: it is worn as is, with no name or initial hand-shaped into it, and comes in 4 stone variations in the same material.
How to Choose Your Chain Ring
Start by choosing your size: sizes run from 48 to 62, with 54 being the best seller. The French ring size corresponds to finger circumference in millimeters — a size 54 measures 54 mm around, or roughly 17.2 mm in diameter. Resizing remains possible afterward, by up to two sizes depending on the design, free of charge unless it requires adding 18k gold. All of the Maison's materials, including this gold-filled wire, are hypoallergenic, recycled and recyclable, and certified by the Responsible Jewellery Council. The piece is priced at €110, guaranteed for one year against manufacturing or material defects, while the shine of the gold-filled wire is guaranteed for life. It is delivered in a gift box.
