No mold, no duplication: at Atelier Paulin, gold wire is hand-shaped, gesture after gesture, until your word takes form. Laser micro-welding reinforces it, then barrel work-hardening strengthens the metal and gives it its shape memory. It holds its line, year after year, like the bond it carries.

The Chain Ring - Blue Sapphire pairs yellow 14k gold-filled wire with a blue sapphire stone, mounted on a chain for a delicate, graphic look. The precious metal wire is never cast or molded: it is hand-shaped with pliers by artisans trained for months, then laser micro-welded at tension points for lasting reinforcement. Work-hardening, carried out on the whole piece after shaping, gives the metal its shape memory and resilience. Jewelry hand-shaped from precious metal wire is entirely made in Paris, in a workshop founded in 2014. This design is not personalizable: it is worn as is, with no name or initial to shape, and it comes in 4 stone variations in the same material.
How to choose your Chain Ring
This ring is offered in sizes 48 to 62, with size 54 being the best-seller; as a reminder, the French size corresponds to finger circumference in millimeters, so a size 54 measures 54 mm, or about 17.2 mm in diameter. Resizing remains possible, by up to two sizes depending on the design, free of charge unless it requires adding 18k gold material. All of our materials, including this yellow 14k gold-filled wire, are hypoallergenic, recycled and recyclable, and certified by the Responsible Jewellery Council. The piece is guaranteed for 1 year against manufacturing or material defects, and the shine of the gold-filled wire is guaranteed for life. It is priced at 110 €.
