These earrings bring together pieces designed to last and to be renewed as preferences change. They come in sterling silver, white 18k gold, yellow 18k gold, rose 18k gold, as well as yellow and rose 14k gold-filled versions, from €50 to €540. White 18k gold does not oxidize, an advantage for anyone who swims often or has their hands in water throughout the day; and every material we offer is hypoallergenic. The price gap between a gold-filled version and a solid 18k gold version comes down to the metal itself: gold-filled is a solid layer of gold bonded to a base metal, while 18k gold is a solid wire made of 75% pure gold, hallmarked and certified, and it holds its value whether resold or passed down. Each wire is handcrafted with pliers, no molds involved, then laser micro-welded at tension points for reinforcement. Some of these pieces can be personalized, others are worn as they are.
Who they're for, and for which occasion
Among these earrings, the Original Initial Stud Earring in yellow 14k gold-filled, at €85, is for anyone who wants to wear a letter that truly belongs to them: an initial isn't a character picked from a prefab alphabet, it's someone's. Symbols such as a number, a heart, or an infinity sign can also be added upon request. Personalization is done at the atelier in about thirty minutes, in front of the customer if she wishes. For a gift, each piece comes in a gift box, a note can be slipped into the package with a simple comment at checkout, and the price never appears inside: the invoice is sent only by email to the buyer.
