All lettering at Atelier Paulin is cursive — it is the only script we work in, there is no block or architectural alternative. Letters are shaped in lowercase throughout, with one exception: a capital 'J' when it opens a name, since the capital form holds its curve better in wire than the lowercase version.
A few honest limits matter here. We do not hand-shape accented characters (é, è, à, ü) or apostrophes — if a name includes one, expect it to be simplified in the final piece. Spaces between words can be added on request, so a two-word name is possible, just ask when ordering. Symbols can also be added on request; they are not standard but not excluded either.
