No mold, no duplication: at Atelier Paulin, gold wire is hand-shaped, gesture after gesture, until your word takes form. Laser micro-welding reinforces it, then barrel work-hardening strengthens the metal and gives it its shape memory. It holds its line, year after year, like the bond it carries.

This piece is not personalized: it is worn as it is, with no name or initial hand-shaped into the wire. Its one-year warranty covers manufacturing or material defects, while the shine of the 14k gold-filled wire is guaranteed for life — a separate promise that carries the piece beyond that first year. The same piece is also available in yellow 18k gold, rose 14k gold-filled, rose 18k gold and white 18k gold: on these solid 18k gold wire versions, hallmarked, the warranty extends to 10 years, the difference coming down to the actual amount of gold present. 14k gold-filled is a solid layer of 585 gold bonded onto a base metal, while 18k gold is a solid wire made of 75% pure gold.
