This Symbolic Star of David Cord Charm Bracelet starts with its material: a yellow 18k gold wire, hand-shaped by hand with pliers, never cast or molded, by artisans trained for months before shaping their first piece. After this hand-shaping, work-hardening - a cold-working process applied to the entire piece - gives the metal its shape memory and resilience. The resulting Star of David motif is mounted on a textile cord, for a bracelet that sits snug at the wrist. Another distinction: this design is not personalized - it comes as shown, with no name or initial hand-shaped into it. Like all of the Maison's materials, this yellow gold is hypoallergenic, and it holds a value proportional to the amount of 18k gold it contains - a solid wire, hallmarked and certified, recycled and recyclable.
How to Choose Your Symbolic Star of David Cord Charm Bracelet
A free resizing remains possible, within one size, unless it requires added 18k gold material. If yellow gold isn't the right fit, this same design is also available in yellow 14k gold-filled, rose 14k gold-filled, sterling silver, rose 18k gold, or white 18k gold - the latter recommended for anyone who swims often, plays sports, or keeps their hands in water often, since it doesn't oxidize. The warranty varies by material: 10 years for solid 18k gold wire, a mark of value proportional to the gold it contains, and 1 year for 14k gold-filled (whose shine is guaranteed for life) and for sterling silver. The price difference between these materials comes down to the actual amount of gold present: gold-filled is a solid layer of 14k gold bonded to a base metal, while 18k gold is a solid wire made of 75% pure gold, hallmarked and certified.
