No mold, no duplication: at Atelier Paulin, gold wire is hand-shaped, gesture after gesture, until your word takes form. Laser micro-welding reinforces it, then barrel work-hardening strengthens the metal and gives it its shape memory. It holds its line, year after year, like the bond it carries.

The Original Mom Ring stands out first for its material: a Rose 14k gold-filled wire, entirely hand-shaped with pliers, with no mold, at the Maison's Paris workshop, active since 2014. Each piece is then reinforced with laser micro-welding at tension points, then work-hardened across its entire structure to give it shape memory and resilience. This craftsmanship, requiring months of training before an artisan shapes their first piece of jewelry, gives this ring its particular strength and shine. All our materials are hypoallergenic, labeled Responsible Jewellery Council, and made from recycled, recyclable sources.
How to Choose Your Original Mom Ring
Resizing remains possible after purchase, by up to two sizes depending on the model, free of charge unless it requires added 18k gold material. This design is also available in sterling silver and Yellow 14k gold-filled, each offered on the shop. At 230 €, this ring comes with a one-year warranty from the date of purchase against manufacturing or material defects, with the shine of the gold-filled wire itself guaranteed for life; in sterling silver, the warranty is one year from the purchase date, and in Yellow 14k gold-filled, it is also one year, with the shine of the gold-filled wire guaranteed for life. Sizes range from 48 to 62 (French sizing), with size 54 the best-selling — a size 54 corresponds to a 54 mm finger circumference, or roughly 17.2 mm in diameter. This design is not personalized: it is offered as is, with no name or initial to shape, and comes presented in a jewelry box.

Designed for a woman, the Original Mom Ring is often chosen as a newborn gift for a new mother, to celebrate a new bond. A personal note can be slipped into the package, simply by mentioning it in the comments when placing the order. The price never appears in the package: the invoice is sent by email to the buyer, out of the recipient's sight. If the future mother's ring size isn't known, the Atelier Paulin gift card, from 50 € to 1,500 €, lets the recipient choose the piece, the material, and the size herself.
