No mold, no duplication: at Atelier Paulin, gold wire is hand-shaped, gesture after gesture, until your word takes form. Laser micro-welding reinforces it, then barrel work-hardening strengthens the metal and gives it its shape memory. It holds its line, year after year, like the bond it carries.

The Outline Letter O Ring - Sterling silver stands out first for how it is made: no mold is involved, the precious metal wire is hand-shaped entirely by hand, with pliers, by artisans trained for months before shaping their first piece. All of the work takes place in Paris, in a workshop founded in 2014. The hand-shaped wire is then laser micro-welded at tension points for reinforcement, then work-hardened across the entire piece to give it its shape memory and resilience. This design is not personalizable: it is worn as is, with no name or initial to shape, which gives it a pared-down look. The Sterling silver used here, like all of the Maison's materials, is hypoallergenic, recycled and recyclable, and certified by the Responsible Jewellery Council.
How to choose your Outline Letter O Ring
To choose your Outline Letter O Ring, two finger-circumference sizes are offered: Size 1, from 48 to 52, and Size 2, from 54 to 58. As a reminder, French ring sizes correspond directly to finger circumference in millimeters: a size 54, for example, equals roughly 17.2 mm in diameter. If your finger size changes after purchase, resizing remains possible, by up to two sizes depending on the design, and it is free of charge unless it requires adding 18k gold material. This design in Sterling silver is also available in Yellow 14k gold-filled on the shop, whose shine is guaranteed for life, while the standard one-year warranty covers manufacturing or material defects, as with the silver version offered here at $180.

This ring is designed with a woman in mind, but it is just as well suited to a man: it works for either, without distinction, and makes a fitting gift for a woman. Each piece comes presented in a gift box, ready to give. If you don't know the recipient's size, the Atelier Paulin gift card, from $50 to $1,500, lets them freely choose the piece, material, and size. A note can also be slipped inside the package, simply by requesting it in the order comments, and the price never appears inside: the invoice is sent only by email to the buyer.
