No mold, no duplication: at Atelier Paulin, gold wire is hand-shaped, gesture after gesture, until your word takes form. Laser micro-welding reinforces it, then barrel work-hardening strengthens the metal and gives it its shape memory. It holds its line, year after year, like the bond it carries.

The Letter L Outline Ring starts with a single yellow 14k gold-filled wire, hand-shaped by hand with pliers, with no mold: the Paris artisans train for months before shaping their first piece. The entire piece is then work-hardened, giving the metal its shape memory and resilience, while laser micro-welding reinforces the wire at tension points. Entirely handcrafted in Paris since 2014, this ring is not personalized: it is offered as-is, with no name or initial hand-shaped into it. All of our materials, including this 14k gold-filled wire, are hypoallergenic, recycled and recyclable, and Responsible Jewellery Council certified.
How to choose your Letter L Outline Ring
To choose your Letter L Outline Ring, two finger-circumference sizes are available: size 1 (48-52 mm) and size 2 (54-58 mm); as a reminder, French ring sizing corresponds directly to finger circumference in millimeters. This style is also available in sterling silver in the shop, if you prefer that material. As for price, expect 195 €. The piece carries a one-year warranty from the date of purchase covering any manufacturing or material defect, while the shine of the 14k gold-filled wire is guaranteed for life (the sterling silver version carries a one-year warranty). Resizing by up to two sizes remains possible case by case, free of charge unless it requires adding 18k gold material. Each ring is delivered in a gift box.
Who it's for, for which occasion
This ring is designed for a woman, but is just as easily worn by a man: it suits either one, with no distinction, and makes a nice birthday gift. If you're unsure of the recipient's size, the Atelier Paulin gift card, from 50 € to 1,500 €, lets the recipient make the final choice of piece, material, and size.
