White 18k gold is the material to favor: it does not oxidize, unlike 925 sterling silver, which can slightly tarnish on contact with water or chlorine, a natural and reversible phenomenon. 14k gold-filled and yellow or rose 18k gold also hold up very well to showers and pools, with simple care using a soft cloth.
For example, plan on €280 for the Original Personalized Bracelet in yellow 14k gold-filled, the atelier's iconic piece, or €200 for the Original Initial Necklace in the same material. More broadly, these pieces range from €80 to €1,640, the difference mainly coming down to the material chosen, as 18k gold is a solid wire with notably more gold than gold-filled.
The piece is handcrafted then shipped within 24 to 48 working hours for 925 sterling silver and 14k gold-filled, and 1 to 3 working days for 18k gold, not including delivery time. Ordered before 1 pm, Monday to Thursday, it leaves the same day as soon as it is ready. Then plan on 24 to 72 hours with Colissimo, or 48 hours with DHL Express for a tighter timeframe.
On a handcrafted word, the lettering is entirely in lowercase, except for the letter "J," which is handcrafted in uppercase at the start of a word; accents and apostrophes cannot be made, but spaces can be added upon request. "Initial" models feature one or more letters, each referring to a specific name, not a letter picked at random from an alphabet; "Capital" models, on the other hand, are handcrafted in uppercase.
