Sterling silver (925) is an alloy of 92.5% pure silver, bright white in color, hypoallergenic and antibacterial — a sound choice for sensitive skin. 14k gold-filled (also called Gold Filled 14k, or "or laminé 585/1000" in French) is a solid envelope of 585/1000 gold pressed or heat-bonded onto a brass or bronze base — containing 50 to 100 times more gold than standard gold plating. It exists in yellow and rose only, never white. Unlike gold plating, it doesn't fear water: showers, pools, and beach days are fine. The only precaution, to protect the delicacy of a hand-shaped form, is removing it during intense physical activity.

How Personalization Actually Works

The wire is threaded and hand-shaped into cursive lowercase lettering, the only style used for a full word, with the capital "J" as the sole exception. The Capitale and Initiale Capitale models are a separate case entirely: their lettering is always in capitals, by design.

Once the wire is shaped, work-hardening is applied to the entire piece — never letter by letter — giving it its shape memory and resilience over years of daily wear. Laser micro-welding reinforces the tension points afterward; the shaped wire is micro-welded, not left unjoined.

Home delivery, shipping included, arrives in 2 to 5 days. If you're in Paris, two options exist nowhere else: come have your piece personalized at the atelier in about thirty minutes, or have it delivered same-day by courier.

Each bracelet arrives in a jewelry box — no cotton pouch, no printed certificate, just the piece and its case.

One detail worth planning around: a bracelet hand-shaped with a chosen word or name can't be exchanged or refunded, since it was made to that specification. Non-personalized pieces can be.
